Korean makeup enthusiast and probably owns way too much makeup and skin care for their own good. Here I will review makeup companies in Korea that I enjoy or I think are good products. I am not sent any of this, nor am I sponsored by anyone. I buy all of the products myself and review them honestly with my opinion. If there's a product you want to know more about, ask me in the ask box and I will try and answer it the best I can. Hope you enjoy~! <3

[EtudeHouse] Proof 10 Eye Primer {Review}

Hello everyone? How has everyone been? Back again with another review, simply because I have so many things that I have to review, so I am going to try and do a review every few days, maybe 4 a week? Just to catch up on everything I have bought. So here is my favourite eye primer!! Now, I’ve only used 2 eye primers, but this one if my favourite. The other I have used Urban Decay’s Primer Potion. Now, in my opinion Etude House’s primer is about the same quality but about 1/4 of the price! That’s why it’s my favourite, good quality but much much cheaper. I need to use an eye primer when I wear eyeshadows because my lids are pretty greasy and my eyelids are kind of small, so most of my eyelid is always rubbing against other skin from having my eyes opened aha,

Pro

  • Brightens eyeshadows
  • Lasts all day without causing creasing (which is a big deal for me!)
  • Cheap, about 10,000 ₩ (about 10$)
  • Good availability

Cons

  • None really…

Overall, I love this product, I’ve been using it for just over a year now. I bought it first the Summer of 2013 when I was in Korea and my Urban Decay eye primer was running out and I haven’t looked back. I mean I could buy it online for 10-12$, why would I pay about 4x the $’s for something of the same quality. As you can see from my pictures, it brightens the eyeshadow significantly. I highly recommend this product to everyone who uses eye primer. Now, there might be another that is better, but this works well for me so I haven’t really looked any further.

Also, the eyeshadows are awesome! These are from Look at My Eyes Cafe line. The purple one is PP502, the pink is PK004, and the white/beige is BE102 Honey Milk. These eyeshadows are not as velvety and creamy as the Sweet Recipe Chocolate Eyes, but they are not overly chalky and powdery either. They are a pretty good blend and do not take a lot of product to have nice colour when you use the eye primer. They are about 3,500 , so about 3.5$ each, I kind of wish that Etude House would release a pallet with the colours, or have a make your own pallet available. I think that is the only downfall of these eyeshadows. Because if you buy more than 5 they become less travel friendly and take up a lot of room. That’s the only real con about these eyeshadows.

Well, that is all for now! I hope you enjoyed this review, remember if there is a product you want to know more about, or just a general question for me head on over to my ask box. I would happy to answer any questions you may have and review a product you are curious about. You can ask about any product that aren’t Etude House, I do use other products, but I mostly do use Etude House. I am actually a big fan of Skin Food, The Face Shop, Nature Republic and Innisfree! But Etude House always has the cutest packaging and I am a sucker for cute things!

Till next time guys~!
